Having a sip of Noah's mill - 15 YO, with a bit of water. Excellent stuff!! I have been fond of this bourbon since the first time I tried it about 10 years ago.

Had me a pour of Ron's 4 Grain tonight, in honor of Ron, who invented it and recently passed away. RIP Ron.

I had a sip of the same tonight, Joe. It is an excellent vatting. I am sorry to hear of Ron's death. It is a reminder of what awaits us all. May I take this opportunity to say that I do, and have always have, admired you, Joe. We are different, and I admire that difference in you.

Henry McKenna, Sour Mash. Got it at the store in Greenwood last week. I have to say I am a little surprised. It is one of the cheaper bourbons on the shelf but I like the sweet fruit nose and the way it doesn't linger around. I bought some Dickle Original at the same time and I think I should have just purchased tow bottles of the McKenna.

I had me a manhattan at a party, then some glenfiddich 15. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good gift for a relatives birthday.

Bought some Taylor Small Batch at Costco. Not bad. Nice flavor. Very smooth. Not my favorite, but not something I'd turn down either.

Right now, as we speak, I'm sipping some Old Forester Signature. Good it is.
Whiskey for Breakfast (in the key of Glock).

Friday night brought me over to my neighbor's house for a concert on the big screen. Led Zepplin's Celebration Day, live 2007 at the O2 in London. A spectacular concert for sure but the real draw was the bourbon. The evening consisted of three pours I do not have [open] at home. It started off with a splash of 15YO Pappy. next came a little 20YO of the same. When the glass was almost empty I added a tiny bit of 15 to see what happens. Very good but I like the 15 on it's own better. The final pour of the evening was a three way. I'm guessing 25% 20YO, 40% 15YO, and 35% Stagg. This was spectacular and I look forward to trying it again for confirmation.

A genuinely great evening.

Having a sip of Ezra B 12 YO Single Barrel. It is quite barrel rich and delicious.

For some reason, I'm just now getting around to trying Fighting Cock.

It's nice, but I wanted to like it more. I probably won't buy very often for the same reason I haven't bought it before: It's only a couple bucks cheaper than OGD and a few more cheaper than WT101. FC is nice, but I enjoy those 2 far more for about the same price.
