Just cracked open a 2010 BTAC Handy rye last night. First rye I've ever had. She's gotta kick but still very drinkable. Pretty good stuff. Now if I could just get my hands on a Sazerac antique.

Cheers,

Tonight it was VOB 6 y.o. I'm a fan of the Barton line of bourbons and they offer lots of bang for the buck.

As a welcome to my new classmates i am having a drink for them tonight. Thinking beam's choice or some green label or a bit of both.

Fighting Cock. I was in LA for 5 days and needed something for a nightcap. Bevmo didnt have much but they did have FC for $18 per 750ml. I only got thru half the bottle, but its better to have too much than not enough. They didn't have hardly in pints, so a 750 was the way to go.

Hotel bar only had Knob Creek at $8 buck for a stingy pour.

Had some laphroaig at a bar last night, and tried unsuccessfully to talk to people.

hi Squire. I used to live in Jackson, and had a houseboat on the Ross Barnett Resevoiar. You can't get a good selection of bourbon in Jackson. But, I love the city.
