Another night of brew, bourbon and billiards Friday night. My friend and I are both enjoying some 2012 Ltd. Small Batch when my neighbor shows up with not one, but two bottles. A Pappy 15YO and a BTAC Stagg. Life is good!

Cheers,

Mixed up a Makers Mark Old Fashioned, and it was nice. The Makers just doesn't work on the rocks for me, but it mixes fine, 1st mixed bourbon drink I've had in ages. Guess how this bottle of MM will go down, and in drinks for company.

Me thunk Makers should taste better considering the price. :x

EWSB 2003. This is my first glass of it, but with every drink I'm liking it more.

Neighbor dropped off a bottle of Breckenridge. Pretty good stuff, especially watching my Kings put away the Blues!

I'm a big fan of breckenridge, and I have a bottle in the cabinet. It's a really good bourbon.

GBrough,

Where are you located?
You always bring an interesting viewpoint to a conversation. What possible excuse could you have for not coming to Cincinnati and spending a couple (or three, or more) days sitting and sharing and hangin' out with some of us?
Do you have warrants in Ohio?
Are you planning to have a medical emergency the last week(end) of June?
We'd LOVE to spend some time with you.

If you haven't already, please check the Watercooler forum here (a.k.a. http://bourbonenthusiast.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12793) and look for the most recent postings.

Yesterday I had a pour of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof 134.2 Proof, 12 y/o. This whiskey is absolutely stunning.
