A sip or two of JW Black Label and then some VOB BIB. I enjoy both Scotch and Bourbon, what can I say?

A sip of the 12 YO Old Fitzgerald revealed its softness and earthy tastes, but was just not what we wanted. Another sip of Old Granddad 114, especially after the OF was a bit much, so the dog says lets mix 'em.
So 50% Old Granddad 114 and 50% Old Fitzgerald 12 YO met at midfield and shook hands. The result was a very nice bourbon of around 102 proof. It has some excellent barrel flavors and a nice jolt of rye spice to it............. excellent bourbon!
