Started with some Old Charter 10 year, then some Old Grand Dad BIB, then some Old Taylor. Some good under $20 and under $15 dollar bottles.

Had a couple of stiff pours of Evan Williams Single Barrel. It's good but I'm not a huge fan. I don't seem to understand why it costs more than HH sister product Fighting Cock.

Relaxing tonight with three fingers of AAA 10 y/o and a good cigar. Nice way to close out the night.

Had a few fingers of Ezra B 12yr. Very good stuff. Will have to do a taste test between it and Elijiah Craig 12yr.

Good to know, I'll have to go back and buy the rest. Had some Elijiah Craig 12 yr. tonight and it's different than the Ezra B. like them both.

I'll have to make it a point to pick a couple of bottles of it then. I had heard that might be the case and emailed the company and asked, I got no answer back.

Tonight my wife and I are relaxing with Ancient Age and 7-Up. We haven't fixed these in years. Ha, it's like being a kid again.

Really enjoying a bottle of Dickel 12 lately. (I know, it's not bourbon) Thinking about trying the Dickel Barrel Select. I was able to get the Dickel 12 for $15. I'd say it is one of the best drinks for that price! Followed that up with Knob Single Barrel. I'm not that impressed yet.

Gonna finish off the Russels Reserve, it won't be replaced in kind. Back to Knob Creek, Jim Beam Black and Fighting Cock.

I want to like the Russel Reserve, but never did. It's a medium bodied bourbon with a chemical taste mid palette. Could be it fouled a few months after being opened. I thought the cork fit loose and it may have gone bad due to oxygen. I found their WT101 a better value, and a better bourbon.
