Today's Courier-Journal ran an article on the newest sponsor for NASCAR - Jack Daniel's Old No.7. I have not had time to read the whole article but will do so when I get home from work. I bet they really had to jump through the hoops to do this. It does not seem fair since beer companies can sponsor these thing without comment but distilleries have problems of public opinion. It is also quite ironic that the sport started by bootleggers smuggling spirits would be objective to a spirit's company sponsoring a car.
