Info on this bottle:Bottle 3250 of 3732
Nose:Ryely fruity, mildly oakey; then there is vanilla, overipe cherries, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, yeast.........all wound tightly and intensely into an explosive aromatic package. Anti-matter is introduced into your nose to collide with the regular matter. This bourbon's aromas dig deep, deep, and then poke the very soul.
Taste:Deep sweetness magnified and glorified with spices that are intense and cleansing in their warm glow. Your taste apparatus revells in that thick rich sweetness and sparkles with the fireworks............an 1812 Overture played inside your mouth. Words are a poor substitute for even a slight sip.
Finish:Long, lingering, lively, lovely.
Overall:Another landmark bourbon from Four Roses. Beautifully built American Whiskey that stuns the palate with its outrageous intensity, its complex composition, its restrained and refined polish, and its total uniqueness. A symphony of flavors!!

Nose:Rich fruit aromas of apricots and and berries. There is a bit of sweet spices - cloves and cinnimon with a hint of flowers - honeysuckle and roses. As it opens there is vanilla and caramel with a hint of oak wood.
Taste:Fruits - apricots and ripe peach, with spices - pepper, cloves, cinnimon and liquorice. Very thick in the mouth - almost chewey with a pleasnt warmth in the throat, but no burn. It is hard to believe this is 110.2 proof.
Finish:Long and sweet with fruit and caramel sweetness slowly becoming an oak wood dryness that is very pleasant.
Overall:This is a great sipping bourbon. It shows that sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Jim Rutledge has done an excellent job in creating a very balanced bourbon that excels in flavor.
