Purchased at: | Asked an Intern who lived in Alabama to get me one over 4 July holiday | Purchased for: | too much | Info on this bottle: | Standard bottle from liquor store | Proof Of this Bottle: | 90 | Nose: | Corn, caramel and butterscotch. | Taste: | Smooth with little alcohol burn and sweet. This product is not a straight whiskey and artificial sweetness and color are added. It is very sweet with maple and butter flavors and I believe Clyde May's secret ingrediant is Mrs. Buttersworth syrup. There is a little corn whiskey flavor that tries to compete with the sweetners. | Finish: | Sweet caramel and butter lingering for a while and then ends cleanly. | Overall: | Not a bad product that I would treat more as a desert drink. It is very sweet and probably would leave a person who over indulged with one hell of a headache. |
