"Amber, with a golden cast. Medium-bodied. Reminiscent of clove, citrus, smoke, dried herbs. Buttery, smooth texture. Attractive in its viscosity and warmth of the palate. Nicely balanced by whiffs of campfire scents, soft fruit notes, and a light streak of fragrance.

This tastes great, much like a good wheated drink. | | Finish: | Deep finish with a solid burn, especially apparent for a 90 proof. It's hot in a modest way, but it just keeps on tasting.... | | Overall: | I like this a lot. It's like that subtle girl you dated in high school, the one that no one really knew but when you showed up with her, everyone gave you props....for both class and taste. This bourbon is like that. The price is deceptive. Very affordable for such a nice drink...I'd say better than all its sister products (Rowans Creek, Pure Kentucky XO). This will definitely become a new favorite. |
