She signified her acceptance of his proposal by wearing a corsage of four red roses. Years later, when Paul Jones believed he had created exceptionally fine bourbon, he named it Four Roses in honour of his wife and the night she wore the corsage.

Very nice but ends quickly, luring you into another drink. | | Overall: | This is a very, very good version of Four Roses. I wish they sold it here in the States. |

Very smooth with just a pleasant warmth in the mouth and some angels dancing on the tounge. | | Finish: | Very nice and lasting. Sweet vanilla and oak with a hint of spice. | | Overall: | This is a very interesting product. I find it especially so because I also find the Yellow label quite bland, a brown vodka product. There is a little more age in this product than the yellow label and it shows. |
