Review from bourbonv (BourbonEnthusiast Review ID 736, Created:20070401140040) Purchased at: | | Info on this bottle: | Batch 1 - 2796 cases | Proof Of this Bottle: | 80 | Nose: | Light vanilla with corn, a little pepper spice and leather. | Taste: | Very thin and watery - a little caramel and pepper spice with a hint of oak wood. | Finish: | A little sweet caramel and oak wood that does last longer than you would expect from such a thin tasting product. | Overall: | Not a bad bourbon but one that would be improved at a higher proof. A good example of why bourbon should not be bottled at less than 86 proof. |

Review from bourbonv (BourbonEnthusiast Review ID 316, Created:20051207153332) Purchased at: | Gift from Friend | Info on this bottle: | Standard bottle from liquor store | Proof Of this Bottle: | 80 | Nose: | Vanilla and corn with a hint of sweet spice and wood | Taste: | Caramel and vanilla with a little oak wood and pepper spice. No alcohol burn and does seem a little thin. | Finish: | Short and sweet with caramel and oak in balance. | Overall: | Not a bad product but I think I would prefer it at a higher proof - 90 or 100. |
